This album is dedicated to my late father, Charles Kondak (1956-2021).

Intro to Kondakion
In searching for a third self, the moment of meat (MM) remembers the previous reinsertion process (described in part 1 & 2 of this saga). Just as scientists finally solve the three-body problem, the full terror or remembering the reinsertion process dawns on MM; since they are remembering this process from the shared reality context frame, logic indicates that the Glass-Brained Aliens (GBAs) can no longer have control over the complex. Has the Ethical Off Function (EOF) been called once more? And has MM once again caused the entire universe to keep existing for some reason outside of itself as before? This terrifying scenario seems to be the case, but unlike last time, there seem to be no GBAs to take MM on a drive to settle the nerves.

About The Glass Albums:
Part 3 continues from the albums Part I: It's Glass and Part II: It’s Also Glass. Part 3: Kondakion serves to conclude the saga. All of the glass albums were created with the tremendous love and support I received from both my parents- these 3 albums in particular however were concerned mostly with and/or supported mostly by my father during the final years of his life. I recorded what would become Kondakion throughout the several months following my father’s death. I felt compelled to write music dedicated to my dad for a long time even before his illness as his declining health had been apparent for a long time. So while composing this album, I felt haunted by myself because I felt this strange sense like I wished for my dad’s death so that I’d finally have the time and space in my life to make something good enough to dedicate to him- I still think I’ve done this to an extent and I seek to eliminate this needless and confusing guilt. To my father, I don’t know exactly what this album is about dad, and I don’t think I believe or know anything for certain after all that I’ve been through recently. Thank you for always supporting me the best you knew how.
